Addis Ababa, July 1, 2026 — MG Consultancy has successfully concluded a high-impact, two-round institutional capacity-building program centered on “Partnership and Coalition Development.”
Designed to foster strategic synergy and enhance localized impact, the training was delivered under a European Union-funded initiative. The project was implemented in close collaboration with international and national consortium partners, including Welthungerhilfe (WHH), the Consortium of Self Help Advocator Promoters (CoSAP), and the Development Expertise Center (DEC).
The specialized program was rolled out in two sequential cohorts to optimize engagement and knowledge transfer:
- Cohort I: June 22 – 24, 2026
- Cohort II: June 29 – July 01, 2026
Driving Tangible, Action-Oriented Outcomes
Moving beyond conventional theoretical frameworks, MG Consultancy utilized an interactive, results-driven methodology that catalyzed immediate institutional action. A defining success of these sessions was the proactive engagement of the participating grassroots Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). Recognizing that institutional sustainability is deeply linked to collaborative networks, participant organizations actively initiated peer-to-peer partnership mapping directly within the workshop sessions.
Motivated by a shared vision of long-term operational resilience, several participating CSOs have already commenced the foundational steps to establish robust, localized coalitions and consortia.
Fostering a Resilient Development Ecosystem
“Sustainable development in the contemporary landscape demands that grassroots organizations move away from siloed operations and toward collective action. This training demonstrated the profound potential of localized alliances.”
MG Consultancy extends its sincere appreciation to WHH, CoSAP, and DEC for their trust and collaboration, as well as to the visionary CSO leaders whose active participation made these sessions a resounding success. Through targeted interventions like these, MG Consultancy continues to reinforce its commitment to strengthening the structural framework of Ethiopia’s development sector.
