MG Consultancy Completes Finance & Grant Management Training and Launches One-Month Post-Training Volunteer Support Initiative

MG Consultancy, in strategic partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH) and with the support of the European Union, successfully delivered a comprehensive four-day Finance and Grant Management Training for grassroots Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

The training was designed to strengthen the financial management, grant compliance, accountability, reporting, and institutional capacity of participating organizations, equipping them with practical tools and knowledge to effectively manage donor-funded projects and contribute to sustainable development outcomes.

As part of its commitment to ensuring that training translates into measurable organizational improvement, MG Consultancy has launched a one-month voluntary post-training technical support initiative under its Social Service Practice. This follow-up engagement is intended to help participants apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the training within their respective organizations and project environments.

Throughout the one-month support period, participants will receive ongoing guidance and peer-learning opportunities to facilitate the practical implementation of key finance and grant management principles. Any challenges, questions, or implementation-related issues encountered by participants can be raised through the dedicated Telegram platform established for the training cohort, enabling collaborative problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional support.

This initiative reflects MG Consultancy’s strong belief that sustainable capacity development extends beyond the classroom and requires continuous mentorship, practical application, and professional collaboration. By providing this additional support, MG Consultancy aims to enhance organizational performance, strengthen compliance and accountability systems, and contribute to the long-term institutional development of grassroots CSOs.

MG Consultancy extends its appreciation to WHH, the European Union, and all participating organizations for their commitment, active engagement, and partnership in advancing effective financial and grant management practices within Ethiopia’s civil society sector.
