MG Consultancy has established itself as a trusted partner in advancing rights based development approaches in Ethiopia. In line with its longstanding commitment to professional excellence and social responsibility, the firm recently delivered a comprehensive Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA) Training for sub-grantees of WHH, CoSAP, and DEC under an EU funded program in Addis Ababa.
The training was designed to equip participating organizations with the knowledge and practical tools necessary to mainstream HRBA principles participation, accountability, nondiscrimination, empowerment, and legality into their programmatic work. Through interactive sessions, participants strengthened their capacity to apply HRBA in planning, implementation, and monitoring, ensuring that interventions are not only effective but also uphold equity, dignity, and inclusivity.
Demonstrating its ethos of social responsibility and institutional solidarity, MG Consultancy voluntarily extended one month of pro bono technical support to sub grantees. This additional engagement was intended to ensure that the HRBA principles introduced during training were translated into practice, thereby enhancing the quality, sustainability, and human rights compliance of project implementation.
