As part of our commitment to building resilient and effective grassroots institutions, MG Consultancy proudly led a targeted Capacity Development Program for Local and Grassroots Civil Society Organizations (CDP–Lg CSOs). This initiative was implemented under the European Union–Civil Society Fund Plus (CSF+) Project, in collaboration with WHH, CoSAP, and DEC, alongside their respective community-based CSOs.
Training Focus Areas
Our capacity development engagements covered three strategic domains:
- Finance and Grant Management
- Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA)
- Project Cycle Management & Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)
These trainings were designed using adult learning principles to ensure real-world relevance and lasting impact.
Tailored Learning Experience
We employed a full-cycle approach:
- Conducted a comprehensive Training Needs Assessment (TNA)
- Developed a context-specific curriculum
- Delivered interactive trainings
- Evaluated both delivery quality and post-training impact
This ensured that learning outcomes were tailored to the actual needs and realities of grassroots CSOs across Ethiopia.
Our Social Responsibility Commitment
As part of our corporate social responsibility, MG Consultancy extended its support beyond the training room:
- We provided 1 to 3 months of voluntary post-training advisory support to participating grassroots CSOs.
- These free consulting services boosted the capacity and strategic effectiveness of local organizations.
- Partner and donor organizations issued formal letters of satisfaction, recognizing our commitment and renewing their collaboration with MG Consultancy.
With every engagement, MG Consultancy reaffirms its mission to strengthen Ethiopia’s civil society through customized, values-based, and impact-driven advisory solutions.
